A shocking fire broke out at a multi-storied shopping, Zudio mall housing a multiplex at GhoshPara in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas’ Barrackpore,
Kolkata : Devastating fire in Barrackpore! It is learnt that the fire broke out near the Atindra Cinema Hall located in Ghoshpara area near Barrackpore station. The incident has caused widespread panic in the entire area. Local residents initially came forward to put out the fire. According to sources, the fire started from a cafe located next to the cinema hall. Smoke was seen coming out of the cafe, which quickly turned into a fire.

Meanwhile, Tata’s famous clothing store Zudio is located below the cafe. The fire spread there too. Several nearby houses were also damaged.
As soon as the news was received, a fire engine rushed to the spot. However, another engine rushed to the spot as the fire gained momentum. However, due to the crowded nature of the area, the fire brigade is facing significant challenges in bringing the fire under control. Meanwhile, the area where the fire broke out is next to several well-known restaurants and several other famous shopping centers. After receiving the news, the police of Titagarh police station also reached the spot. The entire area is covered in black smoke. Barrackpore Railway Station is located nearby.
The immediate cause of the fire is not clear, but authorities are investigating the incident. Firefighters are engaging with local shopkeepers and residents to gather more information.
