At the heart of the Hilux Black Edition is powered by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, delivering 500 Nm of torque, available with a six-speed automatic transmission and features a four-wheel-drive system with an electronic differential lock.

The Hilux Black Edition features a black treatment across its exterior. The Black Edition of the Toyota Hilux receives blacked-out elements. Design-wise, this particular Hilux gets a black-coloured radiator grille, and 18-inch black alloy wheels with customised hub caps and blacked-out ORVMs, door handles, fender garnish, and and fuel lid garnish.
