The 8th edition of Bengal Global Business Summit is scheduled on February 5 – 6, 2025 in Kolkata. All the country’s leading industrialists and representatives of the business community can come to attend that conference.


BGBS 2025: On February 5-6, 2025, The Government of West Bengal will be organizing the 8th edition of the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) in Kolkata. The event will be hosted at two of the Bengal’s state-of-the art convention centres, Biswa Bangla Convention Centre and Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan. This time too, the state is optimistic about huge investments from the industrial summit. Preparations are complete.

20 countries will participate in this year’s industrial conference. In addition, the King of Bhutan is coming. The Chief Minister of Jharkhand is coming.
This time, before the start of BGBS, Navanna has paid special attention to creating new industries or industrial parks on ‘abandoned’ lands in the state. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has set the goal of her government and stated that more industries and employment opportunities must be provided. Just as there is a plan to create an AI Hub in the state, the state is also paying special attention to industries ranging from semiconductors to information technology, textiles and leather and tourism.


The Summit will feature plenary sessions, sectoral sessions for focus sectors, country sessions with partner countries, and B2Bs and B2Gs meetings to expand networks and meet potential partners.


Participation from the international forum also witnessed an increased engagement from 20 countries in BGBS 2015 to around 40 countries in the BGBS 2023, clearly highlights the success of Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) in international platform.

What is the Bengal global business summit?

The summit aims to bring together corporate leaders, business delegations, entrepreneurs, academics, and think tanks from across the world. The goal is to foster strategic partnerships, explore new business opportunities, and gain insights into the state’s industrial landscape and its business-friendly initiatives.
