Vicky Kaushal‘s and Rashmika Mandana Bollywood film, Chhaava, hit theaters on February 14 and saw massive opening day collection. This historical action movie, directed by Laxman Utekar, draws its inspiration from the life of the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chaava saw a footfall of earned an impressive ₹31 crore on its opening day, Friday for all languages. This is the best opening of Vicky’s career as well as the best for all Indian films in 2025, surpassing Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, with ₹15.30 crores opening day collection last month.

Chhava is a biopic of Maratha warrior King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films.
