Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Voting Updates: Polling for Delhi assembly elections began at 7am will conclude at 6 pm. The Assembly Election 2025 will decide who will lead the Union Territory for the next five years. Around 1. 56 crore voters are eligible to cast their votes in the national capital. The results will be declared on February 8.


The triangular battle between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress will conclude on February 8 with the assembly election result.


Voting for the 70-member assembly across 13766 polling stations. Around 1. 56 crore voters are eligible to cast their votes in the national capital,including 83.76 lakh men, 72.36 lakh women, and 1,267 individuals from the third gender.

“I Have Voted For Politics Of Work,” Says AAP Minister Gopal Rai

Delhi Election 2025 updates: AAP candidate from Babarpur Assembly seat, Gopal Rai cast his vote in the Delhi Assembly. “Today, I have voted for the politics of work and I appeal to all of you to vote for the politics of work and also make your family, friends and neighbours vote,” Mr Rai wrote on X.

Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal urged the Delhi voters to cast their votes, “Today we have to defeat the politics of lies, hatred and fear and make truth, development and honesty win. Vote and also inspire your family, friends and neighbours. Hooliganism will lose, Delhi will win,” he wrote on X.

Delhi Election 2025 updates: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi cast her vote. Speaking to media, she said, people of Delhi will vote for work, honesty and goodness. “Today’s election in Delhi is not just an election, it is a Dharam Yuddh (religious war). This is a battle between good and evil. It’s a battle between work and hooliganism. I appeal to all the people of Delhi to cast their vote. Vote for work, vote for goodness. Truth will prevail,” she said.

She is contesting from the Kalkaji seat against CM Atishi. “It is our duty to use the power given to us by the Constitution in the right manner. The people of Delhi are requested to come out of their homes and ensure their participation in this great festival of democracy,” she wrote on social media.
