The ‘Duare Sarkar’ camp is starting today and will continue until February 1. The government camp at the door will provide services under 37 projects including Health Companion, Lakshmi Bhandar, Food Companion, Old Age Allowance, Scheduled Companion.
Kolkata: The ‘Sarkar at Your Door’ program is starting. The camp will run from today until February 1. The program is starting in the state after almost a year. The state government launched the ‘Door-at-Gate’ service in December 2020. This is the ninth time this camp is being organized. Enrollment in various state government schemes or any change applications will be accepted at this ‘Duare Sarkar’ camp. The camp will generally be closed on Sundays or any government holiday, Nabanna said.

It is believed that this process will probably be in two phases. The first phase, the application process, will run from January 24 to February 1. After that, direct services will be provided until February 28. Navanna has informed that this time, the emphasis in the government will be on those who are deprived of services. Those who are facing problems will also be seen to be resolved quickly.

List of Services Under Duare Sarkar Camp
- Khadya Sathi scheme will help the beneficiaries to take rations at subsidized prices. The beneficiaries must be below the poverty line and belong to the economically weaker section of society. The beneficiaries will get 5 kg of food grains at Rupees 2 per kg.
- Swasthya Sathi scheme will provide health insurance of up to Rupees 500000 to the beneficiaries and the beneficiaries must have a smart card.
- Caste certificates can also be through the Duare Sarkar Yojana and the applicant will just have to fill out the application form.
- Sikshashree scholarship will also be provided for the development of the camps and the students studying from class 5th to 8th will be provided to get the benefit.
- Jai Johar scheme has launch for the ST category of the candidates. Financial assistance of Rupees 1000 per month will be provided through this scheme.
- Taposili Bandhu scheme creates for the SC category of the candidates. Rs 600 will be provided per month for the development of this scheme.
- Kanyashree scheme is for the girls’ students of West Bengal State and the students from classes 8th to 12th will be provided with this scheme. Rupees 25000 will be provided under this scheme.
- Rupashree scheme is provided in order to help the economically stressed families with their daughters’ marriage. 25000 Rupees will be provided under this scheme.
- Aikyashree Scholarship scheme is available for the minority communities students studying from class 1st to PhD level.
- Krishak Bandhu scheme will provide financial assistance to farmers. The beneficiaries will be provided 4000 Rupees per annum and a death benefit of Rs 2 lakh.
- Manabik scholarship is available for PWD candidates. The beneficiaries will be provided 1000 Rupees per month.

These camps are organized at the level of gram panchayat and municipal ward level. These camps act as service providers of specific services and nodes for issuance and collection of applications for welfare schemes.
Paray Samadhan – a community component of the Duare Sarkar campaign – conceptualized to respond to the numerous petitions and applications received from citizens seeking solutions to small local problems due to gaps in infrastructure, supply and services and manpower in public institutions. Through Paray Samadhan, the Government seeks to address neighborhood needs through small interventions and community participation, aiming to solve community level issues locally.
