Samsung has launched new Galaxy Book 5 series devices in India. South Korean consumer electronics major Samsung has launched three entries — the Galaxy Book5 Pro, Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book5 360.
These laptops come equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with an NPU that is claimed to deliver up to 47 TOPS for AI-based features. The Copilot+ PCs offer AMOLED display with up to 3K resolution. Notably, the Pro models of the Galaxy Book5 series feature quad speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The Galaxy Book 5 series ships with Windows 11. They can be configured with either Intel Core Ultra 7 series CPUs or Intel Core Ultra 5 series CPUs along with Intel Arc GPU. All three models come in two RAM options —16GB and 32GB — and three storage options — 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
They also feature Intel AI Boost, to perform faster on-device generative Artificial Intelligence-based tasks such as AI Select and Photo Remaster. AI Select, a feature similar to Circle to Search with Google on Galaxy smartphones, enables instant search and extraction of information with a single click. Photo Remaster enhances images with AI-powered clarity and sharpness.

Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, the lineup offers significant advancements in computing. With up to 47 TOPS (Tera operations per second) of NPU power, the series boasts a 17 per cent boost in GPU performance and a 16 per cent increase in CPU efficiency. Intel AI Boost, alongside Lunar Lake’s redesigned architecture and Battlemage GPUs, provides three times the AI compute power while lowering SoC power consumption by 40 per cent compared to previous generations, enabling smarter workflows, seamless multitasking, and extended battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy Book5 360 boasts a 15.6-inch FHD AMOLED touch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and S Pen support. The laptop houses a 68.1Wh battery. It features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and weighs 1.46 kg.
Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro boasts a 14-inch 3K FHD AMOLED touch display with 120Hz refresh rate and S Pen support. The device packs in a 63.1Wh battery. It features quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support and weighs 1.23 kg.
Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 has a 16-inch 3K AMOLED touch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and S Pen support. It is equipped with a 76.1Wh battery and includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The Galaxy Book5 Pro weighs 1.56 kg.

The laptops promise over a day of battery life up to 25 hours on a single charge. Galaxy Book5 Pro is capable of reaching 41% charge in 30 minutes.
