Sivakarthikeyan’s SK 25 titled Parasakthi
From the nearly two-minute-long footage which begins with ‘Once upon a time in Madras’. The title teaser of Parasakthi shows the story is set in Madras in the 1960s. The teaser introduces Siva Karthikeyan in the role of a student leader. It takes place at the Pachaiyappa’s college where Sivakarthikeyan is seen going door to door, in search of something. He comes across as a fearless leader, looking to lead students on a violent protest in rebellion against an unjust system which seems to have imposed orders such as ‘Students – do not touch’. Atharvaa appears as a student, while the film’s female lead Sreeleela is his classmate.
The teaser shows Sivakarthikeyan addressing a large gathering of students, saying, ‘Perun senai ondru thebhai.’ (We need a big army). The students are running with weapons in hand, and Atharva is seen coming in the same manner as everyone else. As the violence breaks out, Srileela arrives in a car just in time for him. She tells him that she would have come herself, if he had called the trunk. He replies in Telugu, “If I hadn’t come, you would have died!”
Meanwhile, the teaser gives away the fact that Ravi Mohan’s character is intent on killing Sivakarthikeyan’s character. It finally announces the title of the film as Parasakthi (Supreme Power)
Actor Sivakarthikeyan shared the teaser on his X timeline, saying, “#பராசக்தி #Parasakthi Tamil title teaser.”

Interestingly, the film draws inspiration of the legendary 1952 film of the same name, directed by Krishnan–Panju and written by M. Karunanidhi, starring the iconic Sivaji Ganesan. This new Parasakthi aims to build on that legacy, inheriting the mantle of a powerful narrative with a focus on social and political themes. Fans are eager to see how this title connection unfolds in the storyline.
