After successfully running in theatres now, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s latest blockbuster Pushpa2 is ready for its OTT debut. Now, reports are rife that Pushpa 2 will be streaming that the film might be available on Netflix by the end of January.
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa2 has taken the box office by storm since its release on December 5, 2024. The Telugu thriller has so far earned Rs 1736.15 crore at the global box office and is still going strong at the box office. However, it also getting close to its OTT premiere. Reports come that the film might be available on Netflix from January 30 or January 31. However, a confirmed date is yet to be announced officially.
Also, fans are curious to know if Netflix will release the extended version of Pushpa2. On January 17, the makers of Pushpa2 unveiled an extended version of the film, featuring 20 minutes of additional footage, available in both Telugu and Hindi. This has left fans curious about whether the extended edition will also be released on OTT platforms.
On December 20, Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, confirmed that the film will not be on any streaming platform before 56 days of release. Their post read, “There are rumours floating around about the OTT release of #Pushpa2TheRule. Enjoy the Biggest Film #Pushpa2 only on the Big Screens in this Biggest Holiday Season. It won’t be on any OTT before 56 days! It’s #WildFirePushpa only in Theatres Worldwide (sic).”
