Rishabh Pant Injured gets hit on knee
The Indian team was practicing at the ICC Academy on Sunday. Hardik Pandya was batting. Pant was fielding nearby. Hardik’s powerful shot hit his knee. He lay down on the field in pain and the physio immediately rushed to him. An ice pack was applied to his knee and Pant managed to stand on his feet, but stumbled. After a while, Pant first hugged Hardik, climbing onto the physio’s shoulders. Then he limped off the field.

Rishabh Pant Injured: Rishabh Pant’s left knee was significantly damaged during a horrific car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway a few years ago. Pant underwent multiple surgeries and a lengthy rehabilitation for the injury before returning to competitive cricket during IPL 2024.

As usual, Kohli was seen being quite focused while at the nets. Before coming out to bat, Kohli tested several bats. Then he started practicing with the bat of his choice. If he can score a total of 173 runs in this year’s Champions Trophy, he will become the top run-scorer among Indian cricketers in this tournament.
India will begin their Champions Trophy campaign on Feb 20 with a match against Bangladesh.
