Ultraviolette Launches Shockwave Electric Enduro Bike, Priced at Rs 1.5 Lakh

India’s high-performance electric bike manufacturer, Ultraviolette, has opened a new chapter in their journey. The company introduced two new models: the Tesseract scooter and the Shockwave electric enduro bike.

Ultraviolette Automotive has launched its first electric motorcycle in the Indian market, the Shockwave.Ultraviolette, a leading electric bike manufacturer in India, has unveiled its latest offerings at the Fast Forward India event in Bengaluru.The two-wheeler comes at an introductory price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first thousand consumers.The company introduced two new models: the Tesseract scooter and the Shockwave electric enduro bike.

Ultraviolette Shockwave: Price

The Ultraviolette Shockwave is priced at Rs 1.5 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the first 1,000 buyers, after which it will cost Rs 1.75 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Ultraviolette Shockwave: Design

The Shockwave looks the part with its purposeful design. The bike comes with a sleek design. From the stacked LED headlight to the sleek bodypanels and the short tail section, it is quite a good-looking bike. It also gets a high handlebar with a design for the seat usually seen on rally bikes. A high-set handlebar with a brace pad enhances control.

Ultraviolette Shockwave: Range

It is powered by a 14.5bhp electric motor. This can be used to launch the Ultraviolette Shockwave from 0 to 60 kmph in 2.9 seconds. The bike is equipped with a 4kWh battery that offers a claimed range of 165km as per the IDC.Top speed on this vehicle is 120 km/h.


The suspension setup includes 37mm telescopic front forks with 200 mm travel and a mono-shock rear suspension offering 180 mm travel. The Shockwave has a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear spoke wheel setup and employs telescopic forks and a rear monoshock unit for suspension duties.


The Ultraviolette Shockwave is set to begin deliveries starting in the first quarter of 2026.
