Vidaamuyarchi Box Office:
Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan’s latest Tamil film, Vidaamuyarchi, had a successful start at the box office. The film earned an estimated ₹22 crore on its first Thursday.
Vidaamuyarchi‘s shows on Thursday had a stellar overall occupancy of 61.23 per cent in the Tamil language. Vidaamuyarchi has been released in Telugu as Pattudala.
According to Sacnilk reports, Vidaamuyarchi recorded an overall Tamil Nadu occupancy of 61.23 percent on its first day, with night shows had an overall occupancy of 71.06 per cent. The Telugu version of the movie witnessed an occupancy of 12.82 percent.
The film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film is the remake of the 1997 film Breakdown. Vidamuyarchi focuses on a man who sets out a rescue mission after a notorious group in Azerbaijan kidnaps his wife.
Besides Ajith Kumar, the film features Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Nikhil Nair in pivotal roles.
Vidaamuyarchi: Box Office Performance
Vidamuyarchi recorded an overall Tamil Nadu occupancy of 61.23 percent on its first day. An average occupancy of 58.81% in morning shows, 60.27% in the afternoon, and 54.79% in the evening.
The shows logged the highest occupancy in shows across Trichy (93 per cent), Pondicherry (92.50 per cent), Chennai (89 per cent), Coimbatore (85.25 per cent, according to Sacnilk reports.
Ajith Kumar‘s previous release Thunivu, which earned Rs 28.6 crore on its first day .Similarly, his 2022 film Valimai opened at Rs 31.70 crore, Vidamuyarchi had a slightly lower opening. However, the weekend performance will determine whether the film maintains its momentum at the box office.
